home

It has almost been a month and we're finally beginning to feel all settled in. We've got some fun things going on in the Johnson basement. It's beginning to feel like christmas with the fun decorations I put together and the pandora Justin Beiber christmas. I still love my beibs thats for sure!! Did I mention we re-did our bathroom and I am quite obsessed. It sure makes taking showers and getting ready a whole lot better.
We bought this with our gift cards thank you target

bed bath and beyond is always a hit

Just a few pillows can make all the difference in the world
also got these from target and Bed bath and beyond.

I always love making crazy christmas trees & I have always been obsessed with white christmas trees. so here is what it resulted in.

Travis went with the no shave november & decided to keep the mustache, I think it looks hot.

I made a few of my own ornaments this year. I had lots of left over crafts from the wedding and mason jars were one of them….
^^here is what you need^^
Step one: take mason jar and place fabric over the opening
Step two: tie hemp string around the fabric
Step three: cut hole on the top( if you want to place a candle inside
Step four: take the glue gun and glue two sides of the jar
Step five: cut a small piece of your hemp string and glue to both sides and let dry
YOU'RE DONE SO EASY!!

this one is really easy!! Just three easy steps;
1. take an old ornamnet and glue as you wrap the hemp string around
2. glue on your ribbon of choice( I chose plaid)
3 glue your berries and pinecones
YOU'RE DONE!!

from left to right
(Samantha,Emily,Jensen, Jordan,Arielle,Cailey)
Sam has been my best friend since I was born, we've grown up three houses down.
Emily and I have been friends for only a short time but, she's been there through my hardest times.
I met Jensen in hair school and I hated her at first(I was jealous) She told me she kinda liked me and we we've been friends ever since.
Jordan I also met in hair school people say we are twins all the time so I guess we just were bound to be friends from the start.
I met Arielle when I first was in high school she was a sr. and I was a Sophomore.
Cailey and I met in math class as the only two white girls in the class we had to become friends.
The groomsmen
from left to right (Chandler,Keith,Travis J, Garrett, Kolton, Travis P)

The ring barrow (Boston Hartley)
I guess it's kind of pointless to have a ring barrow  in the LDS church since we don't do a ring ceramony but we had to have a excuse for boss to wear a cute outfit. Boston is Emily child(bridesmaid) He's a little brat at time but I think we both know we love each other .
The flower girl (Kameron Lynn Cox)
I sure love this little girl. Kameron is my only niece I have (not biological) but, I have been here since the begining I sure love that snot nose little girl.
Father & son
besides the crazy wind we had up on the mountain our day was so perfect with all of our loved ones there to support us. I love everyone that was there that day. I am so beyond blessed for so much love in my life. Any questions on how the Church of Jesus Christ of latter day saints marriages works. check out >> http://mormon.org<<

a cute picture I found from when travis& I first dated

Today has been an awful day for me, and I can't help my self but to cry. I don't know if its the stress of the holidays or the fact that Utah has all of the sudden gone to ice. I had another one of those breakdowns again and Travis laid with me in our bed and just went on a list of why he loves me. I couldn't help myself but to fall even more in love with Travis. When I was younger my mom use to tell me how she loved my dad more and more everyday but I never understood it till now. When I got married my whole life changed. Suddenly I don't care about anyone else anymore, I suddenly have become a house wife and actually want to clean and have the house picked up before travis gets off work. The craziest thing yet is I make sure travis has breakfast in his belly and lunch everyday and I love doing it because when travis is happy I am happy. Do not get me wrong its been hard sharing my things and doing all this because I've never had any sisters to share any of these moments with and I never really had that best friend who slept over all the time. But, when you are married all of the sudden you don't care for anyone but your little family you have. I've been asked a lot lately
"how do you like married life?" I just want to scream on the top of my lungs
"everyone should be married because its the best thing in the whole entire world!!"
Its funny because people think when you get married that its all about the intimacy and don't get me wrong its awesome but I think the best part of being married is being sealed to my best friend for eternity and spending every moment together especially waking up next to eachother everyday.
I think God gives us these partners so we don't have to do it alone.

one in a million

As thanksgiving comes around I can't help myself but to be grateful for my amazing friends, family and, ecspecially my husband. Its been a really hard time for me to come back from the wedding and start back up to reality. Travis has been such a incredible person to just be there and hold me when I cry. We had such an awesome time on our trip so we decided to make a video. Here is a video I made for Trav and I on our honeymoon and its nothing to professional but it was so fun making it. I just want to go back already I just miss it so much.

part 3: HB beach bums

We thought that we would be leaving the honeymoon right after disneyland but, we still had money and we just could not leave. So we decided to pack our bags and purchase a hotel that was actually nice and worth our money. We ended up getting a hotel in longbeach that was REALLY nice. First things first we were both starving so we stopped in long beach and ate at the long beach cafe and it was absolutely bumping. After we ate we headed over to the beach!!
HB to be exact, It was such a fun beach we both didn't know what to expect going together but I don't know what it is about being at the beach but it makes you think deeply about life. When we first arrived to the beach we forgot the most important items you need for the beach;
1.tanning oil (boo's request)
2.towels
3. sun hats
so first things first get the following items and get them quick. So we found some cute towels they were red lifeguard towels they are actually nice cute towels that we will be able to take to 7peaks this year. And about the tanning oil Trav had to ask everyone which tanning oil was going to get him the best California tan. I now know why everyone from California is so good looking they all have super nice tans and blonde nice hair. The best of the best was when Travis wore his giant sun hat. Surprisingly enough he actually looked really hot… what can I say I married THE hottest guy on this planet. God must have spent a lot of time on Travis because he turned out perfect. As the sun started to set, Travis and I went on a bike ride on the beach and ended it with a private beach and a make out. It truly was so beautiful to be there and I just wish I never had to leave the most beautiful place on earth.

hottest picture hands down.

part 2 a world of magic

Unfortunately there is just a whole of fun that went down on are honeymoon&  I am breaking it down into three parts….
we left early morning thursday as in 4:30am early to get on the road to California so that we would make it to disneyland before the park opened at 10am. The drive was about a 4 hour drive from lake havasui. luckly since I have been married i've been "that girl" who goes to bed at 8:30pm every single night. I guess its been pretty nice though because the only reason I ever stayed up anyways was because travis and I would stay out till 11-12 every night and I never could sleep because I had a hard time when he would leave (attachment issues). so we finally arrived to disneyland as a last minute trip.

tip#1 NEVER I repeat EVER stay in a motel 6. Nastiest place i've ever stayed in. just spend that 40 extra dollars and stay somewhere nicer.

Our hotel was neon orange with floor that was concrete and had wood paper over it. The bathroom has never ever been cleaned. Even worst the sheets seemed like they haven't been changed or updated since the 70's. At least disneyland was everything I could hope it to be. Over priced food that you buy anyways cause its disneyland and the asians that take pictures of anything thats everything. The best part we even got our pins that said "just married& happy ever after". The best part of the whole entire thing was to see all the other LDS families there. (they definitely stood out)

tip#2 there is a mexican restaurant in frontier land kind of by pirates of the Caribbean and indiana jones. its about 10 bucks a plate but you sure get ALOT of food!!!

I would say my favorite ride there was space mountain. That would was way fun and I love the fact that we are riding a roller coaster in the dark. I think Travis loved the new cars ride in California adventures. We waited in the ride for cars for about 1 1/2 but it was totally worth the wait.

Tip#3 get fast past to the rides you want to go on early in the morning so that you feel like you aren't wasting the rest of the day waiting in lines.

we stayed in disneyland for two days and I think the second night was the worst because I had the worst melt down. Poor travis must really love me after the way I acted towards him. By friday night I was so exhausted and just so warn out that I had taken it out on travis. But luckly his sweet words were uplifting and I was able to enjoy the rest of my night with him.

Tip#4 wear good shoes and good clothes at amusment parks, its not a fashion statement. make sure to always bring an extra pair of shoes in a back pack.

overall I had the time of my life& I guess everything just seems so much better when you have the person you love to you always. Being able to share the first is such an amazing and humbling experience.

part 1 honeymoon style

yep its official I'm married to the man of my dreams. I never knew that i could love someone so much, but I sure love him more than a four letter word. If any of you are thinking about getting married anytime soon DO it. I promise you that its the best thing that could ever happen.
well, the first part to the beginning of our AMAZING HONEYMOON!!!
it was just one big huge road trip. ( I highly recommend flying)
we started out by driving to lake havasui in Arizona!! it was not what we expected it to be.

tip#1 if you don't have a boat or any water toys& your planning on staying at a lake house maybe rethink what you are about to get yourself into.

so we arrived to my grandparents house and needed to stop for some medicine(both our stomachs were in way to much pain). We figured we would just stop at Walmart before we drove to the house. WRONG IDEA!!!! Everything was closed by the time we got there

Tip#2 small towns have everything closed by 10 o'clock(yep even wal-mart)

there ended up being a small store opened about 5miles away. The cool thing to do in lake Havasui besides the spring break party they have down there is the London bridge. That was acctually pretty sweet. I don't know much of the history behind it other then the bridge fell down and was rebuilt in lake havasui. So we went there for two days and filmed for our honeymoon video and then took a beautiful walk down the lake.

Tip#3 if you don't need to spend money on eating out then don't. Buy some grocreies and try brushing up on your cooking skills.

we went to Walmart and got meals for three days and spent 40 dollars! yep I told you thats a meal and a half when you go and eat out. we made our first meal together which was acctually a blast. we made lime chicken with mash potatos and  peas. it took us about two ours to make it but it was super fun to make and it actually ended up tasting pretty good.

Tip#4 marinate the longest you can because you can get more flavor out of it

by the last day we were there we were so ready for disneyland and just were sick of being so board. The lake was so cold to swim and the pool was freezing so we didn't have much to do than to layout and "watch movies".  I did get a lot of bonding time and I havent found out what bothers me about him yet. (I think he might be the closest thing to perfect)
