keeping up with the johnsons

man i've missed writing and blogging! this past year it seems like only a little blog post here and there but I totally lost interest and trying to spend more time chasing my crazy little one around! I really have had a lot to write about but I have done less documenting in the last year as far as capturing images go and i've really tried to focus on the now! But i've really missed blogging and the friends I have created through social media! Its crazy when you decide to open up about your life it seems like people connect with you on a whole other level! well here are a few need to know updates on our lives.

Travis: we moved back to my parents home to save us some money while my husband goes to UVU (utah valley university) full time doing construction management. He's also going to MATC ( not sure what that stands for hehehe) but he also wants to be an electrician. He is working on his apprentice with an electrician. On top of all that he is being the best daddy in the whole world. I've finally convinced him to grow his cute curly hair out! I have a thing for long curly hair!

Penelope: I hope you have a meal and a lot of water and maybe a few water bottles (to pee in) because this might be long! What can I say I have a thirteen month old!! Where has time gone? it has been the best most crazy year I have ever experienced! Man I love being a mommy more than I ever thought was possible! The joy that children give you ways out every possible hardship that might come with children! financially it will never be an okay time for me to have kids! Its hard living on a college/ stay at home mom budget but one step at a time we will get there right! Penelope is so stinking cute she's really growing into her own. She takes a few steps and then looks around to make sure everyone saw her then she starts laughing and clapping her hands one hundred percent of the time! She is in this love stage and always wants to cuddle. Man that little girl melts my heart!!! Shes a total of 17 pounds and 23 in long she sure is tiny but I laugh because I dont know what kind of baby I was expecting both my husband and I are both small people! ( I mean me post baby) alright that not so grammar paragraph is over!

Me: well I showered today! so thats new but seriously does any moms feel the same way? Its like hey whats new with your life and you just want to scream at them and say look at me I have a haggard train mess with mascara from two days ago! My Cute accessories are my unique colored puke stains all over my shirt! do you want to know whats new? well nothing because I do the same thing every single day long!!! I love it though because I get to hang out with that cute little mini tiny babe!
