tip tuesday; pregnancy must haves

I thought I would start something new, tip tuesdays!! From things like beauty, life, recipes, pregnancy, and you know a little bit of everything.. I know I have been a blogger slacker but quit frankly I need a little bit to work with this blog. I want to hear you input on things you'd like to see more of! BE HONEST I sure would love the feedback!
Here is five things I think are a must have for my pregnant peeps..
1. Pregnancy pillow
This is a absolute must! These can get super expensive if you don't buy them at the right places. I found mine at Burlington Coat Factory for $40 dollars. I saw the same one at Babyrus for $120. I can absolutely not live without this thing. I highly recommend it, mostly when you get out of your first trimester and you start getting bigger. My cute friend kali mentioned something about it a while ago so I wanted to go check it out for myself. I can't sleep without it now because it allows me to sleep on my stomach without smashing the baby! I use to pull the bed spread and the sheets in between my legs and cuddle next to it but now I have this awesome pillow! (my husband just doesn't make the cut)
2. Doterra peppermint essential oil
This absolutely saved me through my first trimester when I was super sick and now with my migraines.
+Use with Lemon in water for a healthy, refreshing mouth rinse
+inhale deeply to invigorate lungs and increase alertness
+add to water in a spray bottle and mist body when overheated
+Apply to neck and forehead with lavender to calm headaches
I normally am not a huge believer in oils i'll be honest with you but I will truly swear by this
3. The proper maternity clothes
Finding clothes has been really extremely hard on me. My body is growing bigger everyday( yes not just my stomach my legs and breast too..TMI maybe!) So it makes it a lot harder to find something I actually like and can appreciate that I look actually flattering in. Before I was married I was the type of girl who wore leggings 24/7 and work out clothes every where I went. But now that I am married and pregnant leggings become over worn and tight shirts become less flattering. I have found surprisingly some amazing deals and cute clothes that I can wear both during my pregnancy and after.   HauteLook is a nordstrom Rack extentions so anything you buy can be returned at anyone of your nordstrom and nordstrom rack store and plus its like $25 dollars for a cute pair of shoes.

4. A comfortable bra
I am going to be blunt with you... WEARING A BRA WHEN YOU'RE PREGNANT IS NOT COMFORTABLE! Matter of fact is that you have to wear one and it is what it is but a better way to avoid the stress of never wanting to wear one is get some comfortable ones that fit you good. I have always been a A32 but being pregnant that makes it nearly possible to be that size. My biggest problem is that my rib cages have been expanding so it makes it difficult to buy a bra. My husband and I went to burlington and got some bras that didn't have a hook in the back that just allows your chest to get bigger and the fabric stretches. Bras are also a purchase you don't want to make cheap but the issue is not cheap bras its where you are purchasing your cheap bras. Step out of your comfort zone and try places like Ross, TJ Max, Burlington coat factory,  and nordstrom rack. These are all places you can get nice brands for have the price they sell you at the malls.
5. Water bottle full of water
Funny I say that right? Everyone is thinking duh you put water in a water bottle, but honestly this is very important. I drink about 96oz a day and am still super dehydrated. Average you should be drinking 6-8oz glasses a day mim (48oz)According to mindbodygreen these are some amazing benefits of drinking water.
+increases energy & relieves fatigue
+Promotes Weight loss
+Flushes out toxins
+Improves Skin Complexion
+Maintains Regularity
+Boosts Immune System
+Natural Headache Remedy
+prevents cramps and sprains
+save money!
