last weekend

can you believe the count down is finally reaching its end? its officially my last weekend as a single lady! even though i haven't been single in 8 months. it just feels better knowing i don't have to plan my own wedding ever again. i had so much fun planning my wedding the first two months i was engaged but after that i was so over it. i have to give credit to my amazing mother for doing most the work! its been fun having my mom involved with the wedding and planning so much she is just so great and i could not ask for a better mother then her.

furr for the cold

yes the day has finally come! pack away all the shorts and tank tops you have ever owned and stick them in a huge bin and put it away for the next 7 months. its now cold outside and we need all the warm we can get. that being said i just love my fur vest i got from Nordstrom last year. its my absolute favorite. that wall you see yep its nasty wood paneling and it couldn't get much worst than that besides the fact that we do indeed have popcorn ceiling as well. but at least the carpet is new but you cant really tell in the picture. im trying my best to decorate this ugly place the best i can.  travis and i will be living in my parents basement till we find a place to live and save up some funds. if you know any places to live you can just leave a comment and that would be absolutely great. well today i got all my temple clothing and i get to go through the temple in nine days. its starting to all get real now. its so crazy to think this is my last weekend as a single lady. we only have twelve days left and its just couldn't come any sooner.

what a wonderful friday evening we had today! first things first... we finally got our marriage license yippee. then also we got together with our wonderful friends kolton and jenisse! we went to wally world and bought some paint for our pumpkins and of course i had to get my favorite colors (purple,pink&mint). jenisse bought some cute little googlie eyes that would go perfect for our monsters we decided to paint. kolton and jenisse also bought some monkey bread that was absolutely to die for!!!! i must say kolton and jenisse are two of the most creative people i have ever met. Kolton did an amazing bronco for his favorite football team denver of course. jenisse did some stinking cute monsters that were to die for, i did a five eyed monster but dont worry he is a happy monster and travis made a beat up football player typical travis just being the cute person he is. but dont mind my hair in these pictures it was a train wreck for me today no make up and i just let my hair run wild and free

what a fantastic birthday

thought i would catch you up on how travis's birthday went!! i loved it and i am sure he did to! we had to celebrate the birthday on saturday because we had his best friends wedding all weekend. i recorded travis birthday surprise because i knew how excited travis would be!!! but here is to a little video i made and a little bit of wedding fun.

it finally hit me

i get married in twenty days and yesterday it finally hit me. i was with travis and we were driving to meet up with friends. i looked over at him driving and i saw him for the first time as a dad. i just started imagining what life is going to be like when we have children of our own someday and i just could not look at him without tears in my eyes. everyone always say they have the best husbands but really i got so incredibly blessed with travis. travis respects me and loves me more than life itself and it sure took me a long time to realize that. i am so lucky to have married a worthy priesthood holder who can take care of me through thick and thin.
well enough of all my gushiness my cute bridesmaids made through me a awesome bridal shower so here are some fun pictures. (sorry about the horrible iphone quality)

october 10,1989 travis wayne johnson was born! wow am i lucky that this man was born! i feel pretty dang lucky the fact that travis is mine and he gets hotter the older he gets. i mean a lot of guys get bigger noses or weird hair everywhere travis just get better skin hotter face geez i am blushing just thinking about it. i am sad we aren't celebrating the biggest we can today or tomorrow because travis's best friend is getting married so we have a dinner tonight and the wedding is tomorrow but saturday you bet it will be the best ever(: well here is some fun pictures of travis growing up!! i love you travis wayne and ill have more to share on my next post of the many surprises i have up my sleeve.

how many days?

yep do the math. we have just a few more days less till i am kennedydene' johnson. on our month mark we got our first look video done by the incredible clint decker. i just can not wait to see the video it took us forever to shoot it but it will be the best thing ever i just know it. i love videography there is just something about a video that makes it seem just a little bit more fairytale like right?  but the next day travis and i got our bridals done. let me tell you i originally didnt want travis to see my dress till the actual day but since we are getting married in november you never know what the weather will be like so we wanted to make sure we got some good pictures. but the first look made it just as surprising as if it were to be the day of our wedding. her are a few photos jenisse forbes took of us and flowers were done by the incredible janna-lynn kofford.
