raw raw go cougars!

Oh tis the season of football!!!! I just love football season and maybe thats because I have all brothers so I have grown up watching all of them play as well as I was a cheerleader also. I am one of those people that is totally on the band wagon. I support my fellow cougars and my mighty Utes. Probably not so great since they are rivals right? I don't feel like its fair to pick one certain team when I have friends who play for both teams. Yesterday we went to the BYU game(thanks to Colin & Ali bush) we  actually had pretty great seats that were right in front of the 50yard line. It was Ali's first BYU football game so of course we had to give her the cougar experience she deserved with a cougar tail and the freezing cold temperature Utah has been experiencing. Travis and I wore matching beanies from Walmart. Actually walmart  has the cutest school sprit wear. I got a hoodie there for 15 bucks.  So if you ever need any gear for the game hit up wally world and you will not be sorry. Thanks again Bush family we seriously love you guys and could not ask for better friends.

One year older.

I cannot even believe my niece is 1 years old! Why does time have to fly so fast? I never knew I could love a baby so much. My niece is the cutest thing in the whole world!! So yesterday we went to her birthday party and Travis just could not get his eyes off of baby Kameron. Lets just say that Travis will be a great daddy someday. We had an amazing BBQ with the best food ever. It was so great to catch up with some friends and see my childhood best friends. Its so crazy how much my life has changed in a year and I have made a complete 360. You can't ever give up on the important things in life and never ever give up what means most to you. Next month I go through the temple and this time last year never in my wildest dreams would that have happened but now I am marrying the most amazing person in the whole entire world. Every day I thank my Father in heaven for him and for placing him in my life.

As was promised in the last post i'll just go a head and write our grand engagement video YES there is a video as well WHOOP WHOOP!!
So I knew I wanted to marry Travis after only a month of dating him Crazy right!! But, back in april (a day before easter) we went ring shopping. I was beyond ready to marry my best friend even just after 3 months of dating. He on the other hand was freaked out. He was going back and fourth for months on if I was the right one for him or if I was the one. One day he was having a meeting with his bishop and he had asked his bishop how to know if  I was the one. His bishop told him to picture his life without me. He could not do it and saw me in his life forever which led him to find his answer. On june 17th Travis knew he was ready to purchase the big bling bling and boy is this ring fantastic. My birthday is june 23 so what better way to ask me then on my birthday. I kind of knew Travis would ask me on my birthday because Travis is the worst at secrets. He told me Jenisse and Kolton would be coming over for dinner on sunday. Well, Jenisse is a photographer so I knew he was inviting them so Jenisse could celebrate and take photos. On june 20,2013 the day of the NBA finals, Travis and I were going over to Kolton and Jenisse's house with our other friends Kali and Travis to watch the NBA finals. He told me that we all were going to go fishing first with our friends. So half way up to the fishing spot I thought maybe he'll ask me because all his friends are going to be there. I remember looking in his pocket and I did not see the ring. As we were driving up Travis told me Travis P. and Kolton texted him and said they would not be able to make it so it would just be us. Then I knew for sure Travis wasn't going to seal the deal it would be on my birthday like I had originally guessed. We finally got to the fishing spot at Utah lake and started fishing for about an hour or so. Right at 7:45 his friends showed up and I didn't think anything of it because I just thought last minute they decided to come. 8:00pm Travis gave me a mini ipad of a video he made me for my birthday. I knew he had made me a video for my birthday so I had no idea it had to do with anything. After the video was over Travis Wayne Johnson got down on one knee and asked me to marry him. It could not have been any more perfect. I have been fishing with my dad since I was a little girl and absolutely enjoy it. It meant a lot for him to ask me while I was fishing and even better, he asked me with a video that the amazing Jenisse Forbes had made for him to give to me. November 2, 2013 I marry my best friend in the best castle in the world( draper,Ut temple)

Cheers To A New Start

Hip Hip Hooray to a new life which leads to a new blog that will be updated often! I must say its about time. My last blog was......

BORING!!!!!!!!!!! 

 Well, even know Im not quit a Johnson yet... I figured I might share some of my exciting pre wedding experiences! I thought maybe I could share my story of us because the least I could is share some fun stories and boy do I have a lot.

Travis and I first met at the village apartments in provo at a birthday/dance party (yep thats right we met at a provo party) My friend McCall and I wanted to meet some hotties and we sure did see a lot and but, we left not meeting one person we were interested in, so I thought. Travis and I have a mutual friend Keith. Keith and Travis have been best friends since high school and I met Keith about a year ago at the Raintree apartments. McCall and I hung out with Keith at this party and he thought we were interested in him (which we weren't) so he "passed" us on over to his friends. Travis was one of those friends. So all these boys were talking to us and asking us a million and one questions. Travis was pretty much making fun of the whole time. I later found out that was Travis's way of flirting with me. So as I was talking to Travis and his friends I found my self interested in his friend Brandon. So we swapped numbers and I thought great what a successful night. I guess I also gave my number to Travis (he's a sneaking guy). That next day I had a date planned with Brandon to go watch his friends play in a band. Travis was going to the jazz game but, his date ended up bailing... So he texted me as his last resort to see if I wanted to go, but by this time I had forgotten who Travis was so I had to do some facebook stalking to see if I was interested and he was kind of cute I guess. I ended up bailing on Brandon and going with Travis because the date he wanted to take me on seemed a lot more fun. I guess Travis was super interested in me because I was showing a lot of affection and no girls don't normally do that. After the date I couldn't get enough of Travis so we went back to his house and watched a movie with his step brothers. The weekend of the super bowl I went down to Richfield Ut and hung out with some friend. I could not keep my mind off him what a wonderful time it was to come home and just see his face. We hung out every single day......

I want to share the whole story about how he asked me to marry him on my next blog. So here is just a video I made a few weeks ago on the story of us... it has a little bit of a preview of him popping the big question.November 2,2013 is ticking and I am going to be the happiest girl in the world.
